Abraham Yakin Artist

Abraham (1924 - 2020) is a Jerusalem artist whose work has been exhibited in Israel, Europe and the US. 

Abraham was born and lived in the house his grandfather built outside the city walls at the end of the nineteenth century. The neighborhood, which includes the famous Mahaneh Yehuda market, has since become the center of Jerusalem.

In 1957 Abraham married Hannah.

Abraham and Hannah Yakin have eight children, many grandchildren, and a growing number of great-grandchildren.
